Welcome back to Leicester, Massachusetts for the LHS Class of 1967 50th reunion!
The LHS Class of 1967 had an outstanding weekend. First, we met Friday night at the Hillcrest Country Club for an informal get-together. Click on any of the thumbnails below to enlarge the photos and then use the arrows for a slide show.
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, we chowed down and reminisced at Hot Dog Annies.
We headed to the Castle Restaurant for dinner and class camaraderie on Saturday evening.
Getting everyone together on the Castle patio for a class photo was like herding cats ... but we managed!
We all enjoyed a great time and a wonderful chance to mingle with old classmates ... and remember those who had passed.
The Leicester Public library is undergoing a much-needed refurb. Sheila Donahue collected funds at the reunion dinner As a contribution to the library's "Buy a Brick" campaign. She succeeded in raising over $200 to purchase a brick in the name of the LHS CLass of 1967 ... a fine legacy gift from our class to the town of Leicester.
Couldn't make it to the reunion, but still want to contribute? You can still send your gift and contribute in the name of the Class of 1967. Check out this link.
Lots has changed in our little town. Leicester has a Walmart and a Dunkin Donuts now. There are more houses and new buildings we didn't recognize. Some old landmarks are gone. Yet some sights around town remain familiar ...
We're already talking about another class reunion in 2022. Seems like a long way off, but then back in 1967, so did 2017!!
