This book came about as a result of blogs that I’ve written over the past couple of years as we’ve become more and more familiar with the city and its environs. We’re not gamblers per se, but we’ve certainly checked out the Strip and Downtown and we’ve been known to play the slots or Blackjack once in awhile. We are, however, also interested in other entertainment alternatives and there are plenty of them. From in-city museums, parks and gardens to the world-famous Hoover Dam, the top of Mount Charleston or the hiking trails of the stunning Red Rock Canyon, there’s so much more than most folks can imagine.
