Blue View - Stinky Feet Syndrome

You know how certain smells bring back memories? My old trekking shoes had an odor that certainly brought back a few… high school locker rooms and our two teenaged sons’ closet come to mind. On this trek, I’ve tried a few things that seem to be helping…

Walks from Siena on the Via Francigena – Part 2

Siena is a lovely city, but walking on the Via Francigena is our main mission now. Two more legs of the Via before we move on to a new base camp. Bring your rain gear!

Just a Little Further

Hi there and welcome to Just A Little Further!

We are David and Marcie Lynn and we've lived aboard our Liberty 458 cutter-rigged sailboat since 2000.

What began as an urge to travel slowly and economically at our own pace ended up an adventure of a lifetime.

Well, here we are ... nearly 90,000 miles under the keel, 5 continents, 5 Great Southern Capes, 36 countries and almost two decades later, still taking one passage at a time and going just a little further.
