We rode the trail till it ended in Valentine. Done! Well, not exactly. Riding the Cowboy Trail was finished, but the GART (Great American Rail-Trail) in Nebraska was not. There was a tiny section left and we hate leaving things undone.
Read MoreEach day we seem to notice lots of a particular critter(s). Some days it’s been bunnies and squirrels. Some days, it’s dragonflies and butterflies or red-winged blackbirds. Today we saw two dead badgers, three garter snakes (I accidentally ran over one!), a gopher snake already flattened and beaucoup frogs... yup, frogs hopping across the trail.
