In some campsites, a permit is required for an open fire, while in others, one is required for any fire – even a propane camp stove. Getting antsy … making plans

We’ve been in Las Vegas since mid-January. Here it is early April and we’re still here. For some people that would not be unusual. For us … well, it seems like quite awhile in one place. There’s moss growing on the north side of our hiking boots! The backyard deck is finished and though Blue needs lots of work, he’s raring to go. We’re getting antsy to be on the road again.

Blue View – The Essential Projects

At long last, it's time to return to the upfit of Blue. We plan to leave for our first trip on May 1st – a mere 4weeks away - so we've pared the list of projects down to those that are essential and/or which can be completed in the remaining time. We've decided that as long as we have a reasonably comfortable bed in Blue, we could get by initially, if need be, with camping gear and public toilets.
