Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Switzerland is known for its banking, neutrality, expensive watches, fine chocolate, tidy mountain villages and high prices.

We crossed into the Switzerland from Italy at the Grand San Bernardo Pass in the Alps. Pilgrims along the way had warned us of the high costs while traveling through the country. ‘Italy is known for its food. France is known for its wine. Switzerland is known for its high prices!” And so it was!

Nonetheless, travel through the country from the mountainous Alps to the shores of Lake Geneva was spectacular. Come along with us and see for yourself.
