Blue View - Close Encounter with a Rattlesnake

An angry diamondback rattlesnake blocking our path

We found a whole host of great trails to hike in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, a place we didn’t even know existed a few weeks ago. On one trail, we had quite the adrenaline rush when we almost stepped on an angry western diamondback rattler blocking the narrow path. With a granite wall on one side and a sheer drop-off on the other, there was no easy way around him.
