The intention was to drive the 115 miles to Tucson, find a campsite and hang out. Shortly after we were on the highway however … you know how we are … we were distracted and ended up with a slight change in plans. From desert ruins to Tucson to the Santa Catalina mountains … come on along for the ride.

Our old Lifeline AGM batteries lasted seven years, not bad at all, but battery technology has changed a lot over that timeframe, and I wanted to see whether any of the new products would be better for Cups.
Now, a year later, I took another look at the available battery technology to find the right batteries for Blue.
We headed down Boulder Highway onto US-93, sped past Boulder City and the Hoover Dam and, just like that, we were in Arizona. We’re calling this trip the Great Western Loop 2018 … come on along for the ride!
