Hudson’s Bay Company set up a trading post there in 1827, but it wasn’t until the gold rush, that, like Victoria, the city flourished. Today, it’s quite cosmopolitan and has lots to offer, but the city’s #1 tourist attraction is its urban forest, Stanley Park, and we were keen to visit.
