Snowflake Bentley - The Wonder of Snowflakes

A few years ago we visited Jericho, Vermont, home of Wilson Bentley, aka Snowflake Bentley. He was enthralled with the unique aspect of each snowflake and spent a lifetime documenting them via photomicrography.

Living in Las Vegas, we rarely see very much snow in the winter. Celebrating the holidays in New England, however, is a whole different story. Though we haven’t seen much, we did experience our first snowfall this year. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long enough to provide a white Christmas. We expect we might see more on our return trip to Las Vegas.
