We have neighbors who have embraced Halloween to the hilt. We walk by their house each day on our morning walk, and each October, we watch expectantly as the Halloween scene grows and grows. I was interested to find out what motivates this couple to produce such elaborate displays each October. Two Weeks in Albuquerque

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been in Albuquerque, New Mexico, helping Gentry (our original web mistress, if you’ll remember) and her husband, Eric, remodel their kitchen. This past year has been the year of ‘the house’, ‘the condo’, ‘the kitchen’… the get-down-and-dirty repair, remodel, and renovate. We volunteered for just one more project and, as expected, it was a mix of fun, frustration, and hard work.
